Resonance congratulates Ankur Abhinav, a classroom student of Resonance (VIJETA
Batch) for winning the prestigious Aditya Birla Scholarship. He is one among the
16 IITians who have been selected for the scholarship. It is a proud moment for
us, that our student who after excelling in JEE (Advanced) 2015 with AIR- 218 has
now been honoured with scholarship for pursuing engineering at IIT. Ankur is currently
studying at IIT-Kharagpur.
The Aditya Birla Scholarship Programme is the Group’s way of pursuing Mr. Aditya
Vikram Birla’s ideals of spawning leaders with a passion to excel. Attained through
fostering outstanding academic excellence and humane leadership values, in partnership
with select IITs, BITS (Pilani), IIMs, XLRI and law campuses. The Aditya Birla Scholarships
cover a large part of academic fees as well as the hostel fees for the IITs/BITS
stream and some part of the tuition fee for the management and law streams.

Following are the excerpts of Interview of Mr. Ankur Abhinav given to Ms. Rakhi
Dhamija, Corporate Communications, Resonance Eduventures Limited.
How do you feel about winning the Aditya Birla Scholarship?
First of all I would like to thank all the members of Resonance family for supporting
me always, even after JEE. Obviously I am delighted after this success. I am feeling
more confident and motivated to achieve the further goals of life.
Tell us a little about your success journey. The most critical situation
was that only Top 20 students from each IITs & BITS Pilani were invited to contest.
I was really lucky in being one of the contestant from IIT KGP. Next step was to
send a couple of essays which dealt with personal background and future goals in
life. My essays were one of the 38 being selected from engineering stream for the
interview. The final step was an interview at ITC Grand Central Hotel, Mumbai. The
panel of judges consisted of really eminent personalities from various background.
I had a smooth interview as I was able to convince the judges on various aspects
they wanted to judge me. At last they said I had done well. Finally, my joy knew
no bounds when my name was called as a selected candidate during Felicitation ceremony.
How did you prepare for the same? Frankly speaking there was nothing to prepare.
All anyone needed was good communication skills for the interview and to be successful
in convincing judges that he or she has crystal clear vision about future and they
will be successful in achieving their goals in life.
What does Resonance mean to you and how did Resonance help you in your preparation?
The very 2 years of preparation for JEE at Resonance was more like preparing for
being ready to face the various challenges of life. After being out of Resonance
I feel much more confident in pursuing towards any target. I wholeheartedly accept
that Resonance has a major role to play in any success of my life(big or small).
What message do you like to give to other students? Just always make your
best effort to do all the things said by RKV sir, SM sir, AGL sir, CSS sir at motivation
lectures or whenever you get to listen anything from them. Those lessons are extremely
helpful not only to excel in JEE but also in many other management activities which
you come across in the future. 2 years rigorous study at Resonance assures you a
good rank in JEE & also a steel like soul to excel in your life.
