Paper Pattern CBSE Class 10th Board Exam 2020 Social Science
New Type questions: Question No. 1-20 | 1 mark each
There will be MCQ, True false, Fill ups , Image identification or explanation, definitions ,match ups, Sequential arrangement types of questions in the first section of the paper carrying.
Short Answer Type Questions: Question No. 21-28 | 3 Marks each
• Keep your answer simple and in bullet points. You can highlight the key words with another color pen or by underlining.
• Be neat and write in complete sentences.
• Use the marks allotted as a guide to how many valid points you need to include in your answer!
Long Answer Type Questions: Question No. 29-34 | 5 marks each
• Start with the question you know most about.
• Paragraph One – Introduce: State the question and tell the reader what they can expect to learn from the answer.
• Middle Paragraphs – Explanation: Present examples, details, evidence, flow charts, diagrams and facts to support the points you are making.
• Final Paragraph – Conclude: Restate your position along with a quick summary.
Map Question: Question No. 35
• The map question carries 6 marks – Map of India
• 2 marks from History – Nationalism in India
• 4 marks from Geography- Full Syllabus
• It can be for identification on the map or to locate and label.
