Students of Resonance, a premiere coaching institute for IIT-JEE, AIPMT, AIEEE &
various other Olympiads have won gold and silver medals in International Physics
Olympiad (IPhO) & International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) 2012.
Rijul Saini (Reso Roll No -1008375), a student of Yearlong Classroom
Contact Programmes (YCCP) of Resonance, one of the Top-6 students selected
to represent India, won Silver Medal in 53rd International Mathematical Olympiad
(IMO) which was held from July 04 to 16, 2012 in the city of Mar del Plata,
Argentina. He is a classroom student of Delhi Study Centre of Resonance. The other

The International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) is a unique competition to
discover, encourage and Challenge mathematically gifted young students all over
the world. To prepare and select the team of students to represent India at the
IMO, a month long intensive training camp is organized every year. The participants
of the training camp, about sixty in number, are selected through an Indian National
Mathematical Olympiad examination held at different centers of the country in February
every year. Six of the students of the training camp are selected to represent the
country at the International event.
International Physics Olympiad (IPhO) is an annual Physics competition for
secondary school students which is held in the month of June - July every year.
The country of the venue of IPhO varies from year to year. The IPhO is a keenly
contested examination in physics open to pre-university students of all countries
in the world. It serves as a bench-mark for study of physics at pre-university level.
It also fosters friendly relations amongst students of different countries.
