Department of State Educational Research & Training, Bengluru (Karnataka) has declared
the results of National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) stage-1. Resonance Karnataka
Base Study Centre outstanding performance in NTSE has again demonstrated that the
teaching methodology of Resonance is unsurpassable.
The Managing Director and Founder of Resonance Mr. RK Verma informed that total
28 students of Resonance have been selected for the NTSE Stage-2 examination. The
stage 2 examination will take place on 13 May 2018.
He also told that, from this year onwards NCERT has announced some changes in stage-2
exam pattern. The Language (LCT) will not be held, only two subject (SAT & MAT)
paper will be conducted & no negative marking will be there in stage-2 examination.
Now the time allotted for the examination will be 120 minutes for each paper. The
selection of the awardees will be made on the basis of total marks scored in MAT
& SAT – based on merit. The qualifying examination for the General category is 40%
& for SC, ST & PH category is 32% in each paper.
The First Stage of NTSE was organized in every state on 5th November 2017. Karnataka
is the only state where the final result has been declared. This year’s cut off
for the Karnataka NTSE exam is: Gen Category -103, SC category – 82, ST category
– 75.
