It is an honorable moment for Resonance that one of our star student Priyanshu Yadav,
is going to represent India in 16th IJSO which is going to be held at DOHA (QATAR)
. Out of the total 6 selected students, he secured first position in OCSC (3rd stage
of IJSO). It has brought glory to the Nation & for institute too.
Resonance congratulated & wished him for the next & final level of IJSO. He has
been studying in Resonance PCCP Division since class X. He excelled not only in
IJSO but also in other Olympiads like –NTSE stage 1 (Secured 3rd Position in Rajasthan),
PRMO, IESO & recently declared 10th Board results.
HBCSE (Homi Bhabha Centre of Science Education) has declared the official results
of OCSC (Orientation Cum Selection Camp) on 17th May 2019. International Junior
Science Olympiad (IJSO) is a competition in science for students who are fifteen
years or younger on 31 st December of the competition year. IJSO aims to promote
interest in science among school students, exposing them to problem solving, critical
thinking and experimentation. Over the years IJSO aims to positively impact science
and mathematics education at school level.
In the stage-I of various Olympiads of Indian National Olympiad’s, around 300 students
are selected for the stage-II. Out of them, total 35 students are selected for the
OCSC (Stage III). OCSC consists of practical & theoretical based exam, 60% weightage
is given to theory part & 40% weightage is given to practical part. Out of the 35
students, 6 students are selected from OCSC who represent country at International
platform.
Resonites are consistently showing their abilities in International Olympiads. In
the year 2015 Pawan Goyal , Yash Gupta & Lay Jain made India proud of them by winning
3 Gold medals in 12th IJSO held at South Korea.
Past Achievements of Resonace in IJSO
