Hard work of Faculty Members of Resonance finally bore a sweet fruit.
49 Resonites bagged success in the Regional Mathematics Olympics (RMO).
All the students will be participating in the Indian National Mathematical Olympiad
(INMO) going to be held on 15th January 2017.
The Managing Director of Resonance – RK Verma Sir told that under the JNV
Zone, 30 boys and 5 girls got selected for the Indian National Mathematical Olympiad;
out of which 11 are from Jawahar Navoday Vidhyalya (JNV) Sitapura, Bundi.
Resonance is highly involved in its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), where
it under coordinated efforts with Dakshina Foundation gives free of cost coaching
for competitive exams like Engineering, Medical, Olympiad, NTSE, and KVPY to the
poverty stricken students since eight years.
MD of Resonance RK Verma Sir also notified that 40 – 50 thousand students
every year, from all over India participate in RMO Stage 1 exam. On the premise
of Stage 1, 900 students are chosen for Indian National Mathematics Olympiad (INMO).
The stage 2 exam will take place on 15th January 2017. The marks acquired in Stage
2 will lead to selection of 30 – 35 students for a camp. The camp will be a basis
for the selection of 6 students who will represent the country in International
Mathematics Olympiad (IMO). There will also be a training camp for sharpening the
minds of the selected students.
