A student of Resonance – "Mr.Shudhatma Jain", came second in the State level Science Talent Search Examination (SSTSE - 2012). The award giving ceremony was held on 08.02.12 at Saint Xavier school, Jaipur. Shudhatma Jain is currently studying in class XI and he is a student of Yearlong Classroom Contact Programme (YCCP) of Resonance,Kota. He along-with the student of another coaching institute of Kota captured 2nd position as a team and they were rewarded with a cash prize of Rs.1500/- each, a trophy & a certificate. The 1st position is captured by a team from Jaipur.

The written test (approx 2 hours) of SSTSE was conducted in the year 2010 in various districts of Rajasthan. Further in the month of January 2012, a district level quiz was conducted at Science Centre, kota where approximately 24 students from Hadoti, Sawai Madhopur etc participated. Based on the performance 2 students from Kota were finally qualified for the final State Level Science Quiz Contest and Shudhatma Jain is one of them. For the final quiz 5 teams with 2 students in each team participated from Kota, Udaipur, Jodhpur, Jaipur & Bikaner.

In Rajasthan SSTSE exam is conducted by Department of Science & Technology, Government of Rajasthan for Class X Students with minimum 50% in Class IX examination & conducted through Two qualifying stages :

• Stage 1 is a Written Test of 2 Hours conducted normally on the Last Sunday of November from 8 AM to 10 AM.
• In Stage 2 : Top 2 students from each district are eligible for participation in the final State Level Science Quiz Contest
