The JEE Advanced 2013 Result has been announced through the Zonal IIT websites on
21 June 2013. Only the top 1,50,000 students in JEE Main were allowed to sit for
the JEE Advanced exam. The Result had separate Merit Lists category wise for OBC-NCL,
SC and ST with the specified relaxation in minimum marks. Students of Resonance
performed very well. 6 Students secured All India Rank in TOP 100 from Regular Classroom
Program. 22 students secured All India Ranks in Top 100 Classroom + DLP. Resonance's
student Satyam Kumar secured AIR-679 and became the youngest student to qualify
for IITs ever.
The JEE Advanced 2013 included two objective type papers. Each paper consisted of
Physics, Chemistry and Maths. Admissions in IITs, ISM Dhanbad and other specified
centrally funded institutes will happen only on category wise AIR in JEE Advanced.
Subject to the condition that such candidates are in the top 20 percentile in their
Boards in applicable categories.
